Ok, having once dated a Mouse King, I was totally amused that the Ovation network is having a 1 week 'Battle of the Nutcrackers'. Yeah, in the true spirit of Christmas, they are presenting a Nutcracker grudge match; six different presentations of Tchaikovsky's's classic ballet go head to head in a Battle Royale to determine the winner. So far, I am liking Nutcracker: The Movie, but never bet against Balanchine.
